Our initiatives range from international summer courses to international awards and competitions.

Testimonial from Michal Amit, Graduate Student in Culture Studies, who participated in the International Summer University program of International Leadership 2016.

 Michal Amit

"I had the privilege to be part of the Aladdin International Summer University program of International Leadership 2016, in Baku, Azerbajzan. It's hard to sum up my experience there because this program has affected me in so many ways.

It was an amazing experience meeting people from all over the world, Libya, Iraq, Lebanon, Turkey and more. It was my first time talking with people from countries I might never have the chance to visit myself. The different views of each person on political, social and cultural issues was so enlighting and inspiring for me. I truely miss them".

Interns could be placed in key international locations including New York, Miami, London, Athens, and Buenos Aires.

Each year, there are two sessions available to successful applicants; one running from January to the end of May, and the other running from June to August. Libra assists with the travel and living expenses of all interns accepted to the program.

The program is open to undergraduate students who are currently enrolled at the Hebrew University.

Testimonial from Hadar Sabag who participated in the Libra Internship Program.

Meet Hadar, a sales and marketing intern for Grace Hotels in New York.

“From a very young age I wanted to be a journalist. The phase that we all gokkkk through as kids, when we keep asking “why?” about every little thing, never ended for me. I’ve always wanted to know why things happen the way they do and I was never satisfied by “facts”. Joining the Israel Defense Forces radio station made this constant curiosity my job. After finishing my service I kept working for the media, this time for Israeli National TV. However, something was still missing. Like most young Israelis, after finishing their service my friends were traveling around the world creating their own stories and I was working in the media sharing other people’s stories. In my last year at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, I decided it was my time to create my own story. The timing of my acceptance into the Libra Internship Program was perfect. I was given the opportunity to continue learning and exploring about others and myself. Most importantly – I got to keep asking “why?” during my life’s journey. The answers, so I’ve learned in time, will come across my way, one way or another.”

A Call for Applications will be published in the fall. Stay tuned for future annoucements!
