BARD Vaadia Post-Doctoral Fellowships
The primary objective of the BARD Postdoctoral Fellowship is to enable young scientists to acquire new skills and techniques while becoming professionally established in the agricultural research community. The program promotes cooperative agricultural research between postdoctoral fellows from one country (the United States or Israel) and senior scientists from the other.

Call for Postdoctoral Fellowship Applications 2018-19
The Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem is inviting applications for Postdoctoral fellowships offered by its International School of Agricultural Sciences for the 2018-19 academic year.
The Faculty seeks to strengthen and internationalize its research and teaching programs by offering a highly competitive scholarship program for excelling candidates that graduated from leading universities in Australia, Canada, European Union countries, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland or the United States.

Nationality: Candidates of all nationalities are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Scholarship Award: Pending on funding availability, Postdoctoral Fellows will receive full or partial scholarships to cover living costs for one-year, 90,000 NIS.
Selection is based on exceptional scholarly achievement and evidence of unusual promise, and potential contribution to a culturally-diverse academic community. The Faculty strives for a diverse and international pool of applicants and especially welcomes those from underrepresented sectors in the society.
Eligibility and Application Material:
Applicants must meet the following criteria and submit the listed documentations and materials:
I. PhD degree from a recognized, leading university.
Applicants must hold a PhD degree in a field related to their proposed subject of research. Applicants not yet holding the PhD must have completed all requirements, including thesis submission, at the time of application and expect to have their PhD degree approved prior to their arrival at the Rehovot campus.
II. Documented previous academic achievements, including official transcripts (all coursework, credits and grades), copy of diplomas, etc.
III. Detailed Curriculum Vitae, including list of publications, if any.
IV. A letter of recommendation from former academic teacher/advisor.
V. A letter from the proposed PI host expressing his/her wish to have the candidate join their research group.
