As a student of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem’s International Master of Public Health program, or IMPH, you will acquire the skills and knowledge needed to take a leading role in the public health community and make a difference when and where it is needed most. “Public health”, which refers to the entirety of the efforts made to improve and protect communal health and well-being, is a broad, ever changing field of study and practice. Taught by faculty members of the globally recognized Hebrew University-Hadassah Braun School of Public Health and Community Medicine, the IMPH program will provide you with the breadth and depth of knowledge and specialized skills required to pursue a career in Public Health. In the 50 years since the program’s inception, over 900 physicians, nurses, health economists, and others, from 102 developing and developed countries, have graduated and taken on positions with prominent academic and clinical institutions in all sectors of the economy. Many graduates are employed in familiar jobs related to planning for and responding to health emergencies, while many others work in disease prevention, disaster relief, healthcare access, clean water supply and more.
