Your first step toward a global career

The Hebrew University is offering, for the first time, an undergraduate Global Skills Certificate.

The certificate program is intended for students who wish to expand their horizons, hone their international skills and purposely engage in international activities during their studies and develop global and intercultural skills.

The certificate serves as an initial preparation for entering the global job market and working in multicultural team and environments.

You can include the certificate in your CV and add a unique skills badge to your LinkedIn profile!

Certificate Requirements

Undergraduate students from all faculties who meet the following criteria:

  • Completion of at least four international activities from two different clusters (see below).
  • For students participating in an exchange program - completion of at least three activities from two different clusters.

 

Please note:

  • Travel abroad is not required. 

  • The certificate can be obtained during your studies or up to six months after graduation.

 

Relevant Activities

 

Cluster 1: Preparing for the Global Job Market

Includes courses and workshops that focus on global career readiness and the development of intercultural communication skills.

At least one activity from this cluster is required.

 

Cluster 2: International Academic Experience*

Includes courses with guest lecturers from abroad, joint courses with international universities, international internships as part of a course, or participation in a student exchange program.

 *For credit-bearing activities, students must receive a pass grade.

 

Cluster 3: International Practical Experience

Includes organizing an international conference, participating in the Buddies Program, the Ambassadors Program of the International Office, and other similar initiatives.

How to Register

  1. Sign Up for Updates
    Stay informed about available international activities by signing up here.
  2. Submit Your Application
    Applications are submitted through the EKMD system.
  3. Upload Required Documentation
    Be sure to upload official approvals for at least four activities from a minimum of two different clusters.
    (You can find an explanation of the required documentation here.)
  4. Receive Your Eligibility Notice
    After submitting your application, you will receive an eligibility notice.
    Your electronic certificate will then be sent directly to your email.
