Open Days
Several times a year, Hebrew University offers a virtual Open Day for our international degree program. These events are great for getting to know our broad range of study opportunities. You’ll learn about the university in general and get the chance to talk to lecturers and students from the degree program of your choice. Sign up at this link to receive updates on our upcoming Open Days.
In the meantime, you’re welcome to watch the recording of one of our last Open Days to get a taste of our study offer.
Campus Tours
Whether you’re considering one of our international programs and hoping to visit us before you apply, or organizing a Jerusalem tour for a group of students whom you think might enjoy a brief encounter with Hebrew University, we’d love to host you or your group on our Mt. Scopus campus.
At Hebrew University, we offer several types of year-round campus tours and visits, ranging from custom-made group tours, to virtual campus tours, and standard weekly tours that individuals are welcome to join any time.
Custom-Made Tours for Groups
Experience Hebrew University and learn more about our long-standing tradition of outstanding research and academic excellence, while getting a glimpse into our vibrant campus culture and enjoying breathtaking scenic views. Tours take place several times a week and are free of charge. While they are typically offered in English, other languages may be possible upon request.
Each group is accompanied by an experienced and knowledgeable guide. Tours last between 1-2 hours, and can be tailored to suit your group’s particular needs and interests.
Sample Tours:
- HUJI Walks: Departing from the idyllic Botanical Garden, your group will continue toward Hebrew University’s Awards Wall and learn about alumni, founders, and researchers of the Hebrew University who have won the Nobel prize – including Albert Einstein. Amongst the tour’s many highlights are its striking views of the Old City of Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, and the Judean Desert.
- Face-to-Face at HUJI: Your group will be personally hosted by one of our professors, who will acquaint you with Hebrew University and its Rothberg International School, and answer any questions you may have about the academic and research environment at HUJI. In addition, you’ll meet one of our stellar international students and hear first-hand about the international student experience on our campus. Q&A, light refreshments, and a token gift are all included in this 2-hour experience.
To schedule one of the above group tours, or to design one that better suits your group’s specific needs, please contact mris@savion.huji.ac.il.
Tours for Individuals Based in or Visiting Israel
If you’d like to visit Hebrew University individually (as opposed to visiting as a member or a facilitator of a group), you’re welcome to join one of our free tours on our Mount Scopus campus, conducted in English and led by trained HUJI students. Tours take place every Sunday (excluding holidays), beginning at 12pm and typically lasting 45 minutes. To join this tour, please email contactus@mail.huji.ac.il or call +972-2-5882222 and reserve your spot.
