The Zuckerman STEM Leadership Program is designed to transform Israel’s scientific landscape, dramatically expanding its talent pool by attracting excellent postdoctoral researchers from leading universities in the United States and Canada.

Postdoctoral scholarships are available for outstanding postdoctoral fellows at the Hebrew University for the 2025-2026 academic year in one of the following two tracks:

• Israeli University Track: 2-year postdoctoral scholarship to conduct research at the Hebrew University. Scholarship of $63,000 per academic year for up to two years.
• Joint US-Israel Postdoc Track: 2-year joint postdoctoral scholarship through which scholars split their time between the Hebrew University and an accredited US or Canadian university. Scholarship of $63,000 per academic year for up to two years.
