The Association of University Heads in Israel issued a public statement in response to the answers given by the presidents of Harvard, Penn University and MIT at this week's Congressional hearing:
[Excerpt:] "The university presidents' failure to provide a firm stance in dealing with instances of anti-Semitism and anti-Israeli sentiment on many campuses in the United States is alarming. Apologies and expressions of regret are not enough; what is required are clear and decisive actions."

In July 2023, Hebrew University and Stockholm University collaborated on a three-day long workshop titled “Simulating gravity in gedanken and table-top experiments” at Näsby Slott, Täby, just outside Stockholm. 20 participants joined, including seven participants from Hebrew University and attendees from Sweden, the USA and Australia.
