Course recognition
As mentioned, academic credits and tuition payment will be dealt with after you return to Israel. When you get back, you must submit the internal report card with the courses studied abroad in order to determine your course load at Hebrew University. You will receive credit for these courses after receiving the official transcript of grades from your host university, which will be transferred electronically or as a hard copy within no more than three months from the day you return to Israel. Credit will be granted according to rules of equivalence.
The grades of courses studied abroad as part of a student exchange agreement recognized by Hebrew University will not be recorded; instead, you will be awarded credit points.
Questionnaire
When you return to Israel, you will receive an email with a request to complete a questionnaire about your exchange experience. This is important and insightful information for us and for future generations of exchange students, and we greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us.
Meetings with students
Several times a year, HUJI’s International Office organizes joint events for international students and Israeli students who participated in student exchange programs, in order to encourage personal contact and to share information. We welcome you to take part in these events, as they are an opportunity to meet students from the university where you studied abroad, reciprocate the warm welcome you received while abroad, create new ties, and share your personal experiences. We hope you will join us!
