Faculty-Led

Hebrew University’s Rothberg International School (RIS) offers universities and organizations the opportunity to design and host short-term faculty-led programs for students and professionals on our campus. These academic programs are tailored to your field and specific needs. They vary in length and intensity, and usually combine classroom lectures, interactive seminars and study trips throughout Jerusalem and Israel to sites of particular relevance to the curriculum. Leading universities, such as the University of Chicago and Michigan State University, have partnered with Hebrew University to offer their students a tailor-made, faculty-led program in Israel.

RIS cooperates with highly qualified and renowned academics and guest lecturers in offering engaging and dynamic course content. Programs focus on various areas of study, including language studies, Israel and Middle Eastern studies, religious studies, archaeology, social and political studies, fine and performing arts, business and legal studies, and STEM. At Hebrew University your students will benefit from studying in smart classrooms and accessing our state-of-the-art libraries, and they’ll enjoy modern accommodations in our student dorms located adjacent to campus. In addition, they’ll receive around-the-clock support from our dedicated Student Life staff, with a designated Israeli student ‘madrich’ (guide) available to assist and offer advice to your students throughout their stay. Networking opportunities with local businesses or nonprofits can also be arranged, as well as intercultural social activities designed to engage your students with their Israeli peers.

Finally, RIS offers you and your students full logistical support, including transportation, guided tours, social activities, health insurance and 24/7 emergency assistance.
